Terms & Conditions

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These terms apply to your use of seldomgame.com (“the Site”, “we”, “us”). By playing the game or using the Site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. What the Site is

Seldom Game is a free, unofficial practice edition of a word game. You try to find five uncommon answers to a prompt. The Site is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the creators of the original Seldom game at playseldom.com.

2. Scores and content

The questions, answers and rarity scores on this Site were curated by us. The scores are practice estimates, not results from real surveys. We may add, change or remove questions, answers and scores at any time.

3. Using the Site

You may play the game for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You agree not to:

• copy, scrape or republish the game’s content in bulk;
• interfere with the Site, its servers or its security;
• use the Site for anything unlawful.

4. Your progress

Your progress and statistics are saved only in your browser’s local storage. They aren’t backed up anywhere. They may be lost if you clear your browser data, switch devices or use private browsing. We can’t recover lost progress.

5. Sharing

If you use a share button, your result is sent to the service you pick, such as WhatsApp, X or Facebook. That service’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

6. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, code and curated content belong to us or our licensors. Names and trademarks of other games and services belong to their owners and are used only for identification.

7. No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise that it will always be available, error-free or accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
