Seldom Game (seldomgame.com) is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains what is stored, where it is stored, and who can see it.

1. No accounts

You don’t need to sign up, log in or tell us anything about yourself to play.

2. Data stored on your device

The game saves your current round, guesses and statistics in your browser’s local storage, under the key seldom-local-v1. This data:

• stays on your device and is never sent to us;
• is used only to keep your progress and stats between visits;
• can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for seldomgame.com.

3. Cookies and analytics

We don’t use tracking cookies, advertising or analytics on the Site.

4. Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information when the Site loads. This can include your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. These logs are used only to run and secure the Site.

5. Third-party services

• Google Fonts: the Site loads its fonts from Google. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to fetch them. See Google’s privacy policy.
• Share buttons: if you share a result to WhatsApp, X or Facebook, that service receives the shared text and link. Its own privacy policy applies. Nothing is sent until you press a share button.

6. Emails you send us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. We don’t sell or share them.

7. Children

The Site doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
